_______________welcome teaching the uncompromised Word of God

What does that mean, you ask? Well, do things that use to bother you bother you anymore? Is it no big deal to participate in gossiping about a close friend? Is it normal to watch prime time television and see nudity, hear vulgar language and constant sexual references and it doesn't phase you? Do you like all the movies and t.v. shows that are saturated with fornication, adultery, foul language, sexual content, nudity-and everything else you consider to be 'offensive'? If these examples are true-and you find in other areas it's the same (the books and magazines you read, the places you go, the clothes you wear <or don't wear in some cases>) - then you have become desensitized. You have let so much of how the world operates into your own life-that you have hardened your heart (or your spirit) to how God has commanded us to live.
Romans 12:2 [amp], "Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire]
renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and it's new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in HIS sight for you]."
Don't get to the point where the things that once bothered you aren't so bad anymore. (They've always been wrong in God's eyes). Keep your eyes and ears pure and be watchful as to what you allow into your spirit. It will determine the direction of your life, so make sure you're going in the right direction. His direction. Renew your mind with the Word-don't let yourself get desensitized to the world's way of operating. It is possible. It can be done. Step up to a higher way of life.
