When you are fighting the good fight of faith and you are focused on a certain faith project, your mind may be on how long things are taking. "It's been almost 3 months now and nothing has changed." "Seems like something would have happened by now. It's been almost a year and I still haven't seen my breakthrough." "Why isn't God doing anything. I've been standing for 2 years now." And then the devil will chime in with his two cents worth and tell you, "this is taking way too long. You must have missed it. Might as well just give it all up." Caution! Caution! Caution! Do not entertain these thoughts! You are headed for a head on collision with devilish disappointment and discouragement. These things will surely take you from operating in the faith realm and drag you back into the sense realm where you can't see anything but gloom, doom, despair and defeat. This is exactly how the devil gets us to give up and drags us into defeat..

God does not deal with time, He deals with timing. If you don't understand the difference between the two, you will get into trouble and short circuit your faith fight. We cannot put God on our watch, our clock, or our calendar. We will either become discouraged and quit or we will lean to the arm of the flesh and try to answer our prayers ourselves and jump in there and do something God has not told us to do.

Sometimes there are some divinely permitted delays in the answers to our prayers. In other words, God permits a delay. He may be getting us into a certain position to be able to do much more for us than what we have asked. God always wants us to dream and expect BIG! But He can't do anything for us beyond what we can see with our eyes of faith. He wants us to enlarge, stretch forth, and spare not in what we see on the inside of us. The image on the inside of us must be perfected concerning the faith project we are working on for it to come to pass. There are spiritual laws at work concerning the manifestation of our answered prayers. And we must be in the right position for them to operate and complete the faith project. But this is also the time in which the devil will try to get us out of position through lies and deception. He will tell us that our faith is not working or that God is not going to come through. When you are walking by faith and fighting the faith fight, the devil wants you off of the job. Cast down the lies of satan and keep your eyes on the Word and your face set like flint. That means you are not going to turn no matter how much time it takes or what the devil or anyone else says or what the circumstances say. Refuse to be pulled off of your faith.

The good news is that if you are believing God and holding fast and continuing to fight the good fight of faith, God is in the process of doing something for you right now! But understand that when you are dealing in faith, there is a timing for the manifestation. It takes time for your faith to pull things into the natural realm. That is why the Bible says it is "from faith to faith". (Romans 1:17) You have to stay in faith even when you don't see any changes, no matter how much time is passing by. In your faith, you have to get above seeing or feeling something. Know this, that God's timing is the perfect time and His due season for the manifestation of a thing. Learn to work with God's timing and trust Him no matter what. Keep fighting the good fight of faith and my 5 most favorite words in the Bible will happen. "AND IT CAME TO PASS”!!!! Satan is a deadline devil but God is an on time God!!! He will never leave us or forsake us or fail us. He is faithful!!
